Resto Terminal inc. POINT OF SALE REVIEW The initial screen asks when the system is ready to take another order. The employee only has to identify himself by his code or by his name (and password). Then, the em-ployee can make an order, invoice, his end of shift reading or punch in or out. There is the table mapping software (optional). It provides the employees with a visual access to his tables. The same thing applies for the hostess which can easily sees the tables that are about to leave. This screen is available to any employee as long as he has identified himself. As ever, this module is a fundamental caracteristic that makes the difference between RESTO Terminal and the competition. THE ORDER SCREEN. After having choosen the table, the order screen will permit you to enter the orders in the easiest possible way. You can have cooking instructions, programmable remarks, potato choices, sauces ,... Once it is finished, it is a simple matter of touching the ORDER button on the touch screen, then the order will IMMEDIATELY print into the kitchen and the bar.You also can print the invoices and many other things (like item split) by this screen. Every function is only a touch away! THE ITEM TRANSFER. This function provides you with numerous ways to solve many errors you might have made, and this in as little time with ease. You can transfer one item from a customer to another with 2 touches! It is into this function that you can split the price of an item between multiple customers in less than 1 second. All these functions are easily accessed within the ORDER SCREEN. INVOICE GENERATION. When it's time to print the invoices, a screen will be showed to you allowing you to easily group the customers according to their needs. Each square on the screen is a customer, you only have to touch every customer that will be on the same invoice and touch the new button (for new invoice). After that, you will have the choice to print the invoice with one total or a total per seat and the grand total at the bottom. At last, the invoice will print with your corporate logo. PAYMENT SCREEN Once the invoices have been printed, your customers will pay them. To do it, you have this screen and all you have to do is to touch the right payment media. Then you enter the amount given and the system will automatically calculate the change. It can even automatically draw the money (with the optional automated money distributor). If you have the magnetic card reader, simply swipe the card and the system will recognize the card and the autorization will be on its way! TIP DECLARATIONS. This module (standard) provides you with easier management of the tip declarations (in QUEBEC) by splitting automatically the tefra sales and the non-tefra sales (like the take out and fast foods). So you can avoid the headaches of that law by letting the RESTO Terminal system do it for you! DELIVERY SCREEN (info) This is the customer information screen that will automatically appear when you enter the phone number. As you can see, you can edit it, re-order the same thing (as the last order) at the touch of a button. When an order is made in the delivery module, the customer address will be printed into the invoice. You can even enter some clues for the delivery person in order to easily reach the customer.
