Company History What is Techno 90 Ltd? Your "Service" Company for the new Millennium! Techno 90 was created in March of 1990, when Paul Thériault (Chaleur Business Systems) of Bathurst and Bernard Gauvin (Nord-Est Equipement de Bureau) of Tracadie, joined forces. The two co-owners still operate out of the two locations and have recently opened a new office in Moncton (Jan 2008) purchasing an existing clientele of over 200 customers. Both Paul and Bernard were exclusively in cash registers at the beginning, and still are the exclusive Uniwell sales and service center for New-Brunswick. They were also the Distributor of these products for Atlantic Canada. A cash register or POS system is a valid part of any business, and Techno 90's philosophy is simple: it must be repaired now! So a technician is on call seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and 365 days a year and this is throughout Atlantic Canada. During the GST implementation, Techno 90 went from 3 employees to 11 within a week, in order to GST upgrade more than 500 cash registers within a two-month period. They also sold a record 125 cash registers in that January alone. They KNOW cash registers! They presently employ 20 people, 12 sub Technicians, and service over 500 cash registers and POS Systems customers throughout Atlantic Canada. Techno 90's expertise and participation was instrumental in the creation of a new POS Software solution for Convenience and Retail Stores; which they have over 60 sites installed in Atlantic Canada.
